Questionnaire analysis

Out of all the people that were surveyed 55% were female and 45% were male, also 70% of the people were willing to pay for a college magazine, 28% would prefer the magazine to be free and 2% will pay depending on the price. 80% said that they regularly read their college e-mail, therefore telling people about the college magazine by e-mail could result in more people knowing about the magazine. Out of all of the people surveyed only 25% said that they would be interested in contributing to the magazine.

Some of the more popular things that they would be interested in the magazine were events and trips, music, competition and sports, and discounts, other things such as politics and film reviews were also mentioned but not as popular.

For the front cover of the magazine people said that they would like to see bright coloured text, photos of the college and students and photos that have also been taken by college students. Out of everyone that was surveyed not one person said that they read the college magazine, this shows that the current magazine is not reaching its target audience and needs to have more things that would interest students to read it.
