Featured article analysis 2

This featured article follows a very simple layout and the image takes up both of the pages but only the left side is used to grab the attention of the reader whereas the right side is used for writing, this featured article also uses many of a usual featured article such as; a drop cap and a kicker as well as a very simple way to layout the information, however it does not have a sidebar compared to most featured articles. There are only two fonts used which help to keep the reader focused and not distracted, also the background is very simple with USA being the only thing that is on it as a way to combine it with the rest of the title of the article “USA got the love” this helps the article to not look boring and help[s it keep it interesting.

The image used helps to attract people who like to listen to “Florence + the machine” and people who don’t know who she is but are attracted to the image and might be interested in what I might be about.
